They scored their highest Test total of 638 runs against Sri Lanka in 2013 at Galle. In this match Mushfiqur Rahim became the first Bangladeshi player to score a double-century in Test cricket. The match had ended in a draw.

Till now the Black Caps who made their Test debut in 1930 have played as many as 403* Test matches. Out of 746 innings only on 7 occasions they have scored 600 runs or more. Their highest total has been 690 runs which they made against Pakistan at Sharjah in 2014. They won the match with some ease. The Kiwis have been known as a specialist limited overs side all throughout the years. The South African team is the no.1 ranked Test side of the world yet they are placed on 7thposition in this list. Though they made their Test debut in 1889 but yet they have played only 394* Test matches which is way less than the tally of matches played by England and Australia. Out of 717 Test innings on 11 occasions they have made 600 runs or more with highest Test inning total of 682 runs which came against England at Lord’s in 2003.
6. Sri Lanka- 12:
The Sri Lankan side has played 243 Test matches since its debut in 1982 which is the second least number of matches by a team in this list; despite that they are above the likes of New Zealand and South Africa as far as plundering big totals is concerned. Out of 438 innings they have aggregated 600 runs or more in an inning on 12 occasions. Their score of 952/6 against India in 1997 is the highest team total in Test cricket. Out of 12 matches they have won 7 matches when they have posted such a gigantic total on the board.

Out of 1731 innings, they have scored 600 runs or more on 19 occasions. England were also part of the first ever international cricket match when they took on the Australian side in 1877. Their highest ever Test match score is 903 runs. They have won second most number of matches in Test cricket.

There was a time when West Indies was the best side in the world and had the possession of some of the most swashbuckling batters cricket has ever seen. Overall the West Indies team has played 510 Tests and out of 923 Test innings they have hammered 600 runs or more 20 times. They are the team with third most number of Test wins in cricket history are only behind Australia and England. Their highest ever Test score has been 790 runs.
2. India- 23:
Whenever someone talks about the India team, we get resounding images of a team which is filled with some of the best batsmen world cricket has seen. For the Indian side their mantra for success has been batting the opposition out. They have scored 600 runs or more 23 times out of 878* innings of 493* Tests. They have played fourth highest number of Test matches. Out of 23 matches when they have scored such a big total they have emerged victorious on 10 occasions. Their highest Test score is 726 runs.
1. Australia- 31:
The Australian side has been the most successful Test side in the history of cricket, so when they top any list there is hardly any surprise. Aussies have played the second most number of Test matches, 782* and out of 1,426* innings on 31 occasions they have piled up 600 runs or more. Their highest score has been 758 runs. They have won as many as 25 matches after posting such a mammoth total which is the highest in the list.
